Did you just find out that you are teaching a CTS option in the Fall? Wondering where to find the CTS modules, how to navigate them, and how to structure a 3-5 credit CTS option? This session will cover all of these and more! This session will start with a primer to CTS pathways, and dissect how to build a 3-5 credit course for any CTS program (foods, media, Sports Performance, etc). Later we will discuss, in detail, two different implementations of Sports Performance that vary in terms of school context, teacher workload, and knowledge of material. While a good portion of the presentation will focus on Sports Performance, the discussions around the design can apply equally to any CTS cluster. Both presenters will share their websites at the end of the session, with completed courses in Sports Performance, Legal Studies, Tourism, and additional Core subjects.
